project 365: week forty-three
Spent the feast day of Pope Saint John Paul II by going to the beach, burning this candle and eating cake. I got this candle from my sister and was fairly excited about it. For someone who's not Catholic, I'm strangely into some Catholic things.
Trying to get boring stuff done.
Started a tiny knitting project! And am now half-way through it.
Felt fairly accomplished when I managed to walk to the shop and back just between rain showers and didn't get caught in the rain. It doesn't really show up but it's actually raining in these pictures.
Had a bit of a downer of a day, but having ice skating cats on a jumper makes everything better. Doesn't it?
Not sure if I want to put this on the wall or not. I'm glad that I actually finally painted it though, since it's something I think I started in 2015? And because it's been such a while I can't remember where I found this quote from and can't give credit where it's due. I kind of still like it, but also it's very much more 2015-Laura rather than 2018-Laura. You know?
I was going to call this a random dinner, but really it's not that random. I mean it's made of random veg I happened to have on Sunday, but all in all a pretty standard meal. And this is basically all i'm into at the minute: potatoes (either as wedges or chips, all the time!), sweet potato, sun-dried tomatoes and gherkins. And I also had leftover garlic dip that I remembered after taking this photo. Probably going to go and make something similar to this right now, too!
