make a mess, make a bow

 Dress - New look
Hat - H&M
Shoes - 2nd hand/Skopunkten
Necklace - "Self-made"
Earrings - Seppälä

I think losing earrings is something of a family trait, and the last couple of years have really shown me that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. My mum is the most talented person I've ever met at losing one of her earrings. Never both, just one. And my collection of lonely earrings has started to grow too. (Must be my cray uni life...) Obviously the difference is that hardly any of mine are genuine, which makes the loss a little more bearable. Still, I was quite devastated to notice I only had one of my favourite earrings when I came home one time last year. I do wear mismatched earrings often, but thought this bow one couldn't even be mismatched well. So, I removed the post and now wear it round my neck rather than the ear. The simplest DIY!

That'd be all. See you soon, lovelies♥!

And don't forget you can still ask me questions!

mint and pink and confetti

 Shirt - 2nd hand
Skirt - H&M
Suspenders - Old, possibly my sister's
Earrings - Seppälä

Here's a couple of my favourite things at the moment. The mint nails with confetti are something that I may have done twice in a row. They're just too nice! I also like to wear them with my pink suspenders, that I could wear all the time. They're actually for children and therefore rather small, but still go very well with high waists. Which most of my clothes luckily are are anyway. How much more interesting does a pair of pink suspenders make an outfit, any outfit? I apologise in advance if I'm not to be seen without them for a couple of months.. I'm so glad I refound them, the last time I wore these suspenders was probably when I was 6. Ha! And then there's the shirt. You probably don't remember me talking about getting three shirts some time ago. However, this's the second one of those. The lace bib really made me fall for it, and one can't have too many white shirts. Right?

Catch you later♥!

P.S. You can still ask me questions on the post below!

a quest for Qs

You may have noticed that my blogging has been very regularly irregular. So, as to fill in the time of me trying to get back to attending my lil' blog properly, I thought I could answer any questions you might have for me! You can ask whatever you'd like to (though I'll decline to answer if it's too inappropriate) and as this is really the first opportunity for you to do so, there hasn't been any questions I would've answered previously. (Oh, look at me doing things for the first time! The 'phone picture' post and now this!)

Anyhow, let the questions begin!

reminiscing in summer photos

Birthday dinner - A present from myself - Birthday dinner - The sky

First picture of my haircut - Scones shaped like Ireland - Tampere - Catching some rays

 Cooking Sunday roast - A family portrait I made when I was ~5 - Church - Mama&I

Seaside pictures

All of these are from late August-early September, but I thought I'd share them anyway:-) If you follow me on Twitter you may have seen a couple of them already. I have kind of mixed feelings posting this, as it's my first 'phone picture' post. Sometimes I like to see other people's phone photos, but I don't like it if posts like this are too frequent. So, I'd really like to hear your opinions! Would you fancy seeing these kind of collages on my blog, and how do you feel about them in general? I have to admit it is mighty easy to just put together a couple of photos like this, and it is fun too. I'm leaning towards liking phone photo posts, ha.. What do you think?

a little bit of hair

Just a wee post to show you all my lack of hair! I was under the impression that it was maybe a couple of weeks ago that I had my hair cut, but it's actually been a month and a couple of weeks. No wonder it has grown out so much! The only thing I don't like about short hair (at the moment) is how fast it grows. I think I'll brave myself to trim it myself, because honestly, who can afford going to the hairdressers every two weeks? I don't even like going to the hairdressers, this has been my first time in over three (3) years. It'll be just so different cutting short than long hair, especially as the last time my hair was about this length was when I was 13.. We'll see how it goes, haha!

Anyway, I'm loving having short hair, and would also like to hear what you have to say:-) I had been thinking of chopping my hair off for a long time, so finally getting there was great. I actually went to the hairdressers with a picture of Tegan and Sara, the haircut didn't really look like what I had had in mind, but in the end I think I like it better the way it turned out!

all the people of the town cast their eyes right to the ground

Dress - Vero Moda
Top&Socks - Primark
 Shoes - Skopunkten
Bag - Gift
Bandana - 2nd hand (I think?)

Last week I met with the lovely Gail from The Equinox Fashion and had a wee walk around Leeds city centre and a nice lil' chat with her. She is such a wonderful person and I'm very pleased to have had the chance to see her now that she's in the UK:-) Also, this was the first time for me to meet someone from the blogosphere, so it was exciting, hehe! Gail also gave me the prettiest notebook as a gift, which makes me like her even more. I love receiving gifts, to be fair who doesn't! (But I also felt a little bad for not getting her anything.)

Other than that, my life has been exactly the same as last year. The first week of uni, I managed to get myself the worst cold ever (, but am now recovering). Having a cold made the already hectic first week just more chaotic. I still need to get myself back to the routine and be more organized with everything. At the same time, being back here feels good:-)

Hope you all lovelies have been well! What've you been up to? ♥

P.S. First and last photo are by The Equinox Fashion.
