tower hill

When in London, we had a lovely wee airbnb place near Tower Hill. (I'm loving airbnb so much, and may have looked at castles that you can rent all over the world..) Although we didn't actually go to the Tower of London, it was so nice to walk past it - and the bridge - a couple of times a day. I've been inside once and I really want to revisit now that I've actually studied lots of things related to the Tower, like the Tudors and the Secret Services. It's such an interesting place! I actually applied for an internship there recently and it was the saddest thing in my life when I didn't get it. Seriously. You might have read about my woes already if you're my Twitter friend. And I might start stalking the Historic Royal Palaces' website from now on and see whenever they have vacancies. Because, honestly, I can't think of many places that would be more amazing to work at. The Tower Hill is possibly one of my favourite places in London. It's so pretty and you can see so many lovely little things. The Tower Bridge is pretty, the Tower of London is amazing and you can also see the Gherkin which is my favourite building. The only thing I regret not doing on this trip is buying the roasted almonds (?) that this man was selling every day on the bridge and that smell divine. (I've had similar ones in Tallinn and they're so goood.)
