On my 9th birthday I had a fancy dress party, and I was the Queen of Hearts. I loved it and didn't hesitate to shout "Off with their heads!" if everything wasn't to my pleasing. I was actually such a lil' queen, haha. This has nothing to do with anything, but I thought I'd tell you anyway!
How unusual that pretty much everything I'm wearing is relatively new? I bought the heart print dress in the sales and I've been wearing it a lot. (I actually have the dress in three different prints, because how can you choose just one. I'm not even sure I realized it is the same actual dress, as I was concentrated on all the pretty prints..) Last year I never wore a winter coat, so to compensate I bought two this time.. It's definitely been too warm to wear this lately, but I'm glad I finally got around to taking pictures of it before letting it spend months in the closet. I can't even remember the last time I've owned a colourful winter coat, so having this blue one and the green one is an improvement:-) Also, I had to buy yet another pair of wintery shoes. These wee feckers never lasted and despite my attempts to glue them back together, I'm going to have to bin them. Guaranteed Primark quality, ha.. But I do actually like these floral tapestry ones better, so it's all good!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend♥!

Such a pretty dress and that is the most inspired costume for a 9 year old! Love the setting for these pictures, sorry that your shoes died. I guess it means you get to buy another pair? Silver lining?
