thursday thoughts pt. 37

This is a bit of a downer, but I still like it. (And hope you do, too!) I know I've said it before, but I do think sadness, hopelessness, being forlorn and heartbroken and so on can all be such beautiful feelings. This quote (that I cannot remember where I found, sorry if it's yours and I've not credited it at all..) is like that to me; beautiful in its sadness.

I think there's a certain poetry in these feelings. And you have to feel the sad feelings to really appreciate the happy ones.

that's so cool that you said that because i feel exactly the same way! granted, i never really like *feeling* that way, but it's one of my favorite things to write about. There's just so much beauty in those kind of emotions. and this poem is gorgeous. wasn't expecting that ending at all.

Like many others have said, you have to have the bad to appreciate the good, sometimes! x

funny you say this, because i watched blue is the warmest colour, i didn't think i would enjoy, but it was very moving and sad. It's good to be open to your emotions :D

Krysten Quiles - poetry indeed, my dear:-) and that is so true, how else would we know happiness if there wasn't the opposite to compare it to? xx

Ina R. - i do too, hun! x

Amy - i'd say i love this because it is so sad, chick:-) xx

Viktoriya Sener - glad you think so, pretty! x

Marlen - great minds think (and feel?) alike, honey! they're a good thing to write about, at least i'd rather read about that kind of thing than about someone who is constantly happy, ha. xx

Amanda - very true, doll! xx

Gail J - isn't it, though:-) and thanks, i'm very well indeed, darling! hope you are too! xx

Eline - good to know you feel like that too, hen! x
