yesterday/MFM

I've gotten myself in a vicious circle this and last week. It started with a migraine and when recovering all I was capable of doing seemed to be watching House. This obviously isn't the wisest thing to do and just leads into more headache. I really need to stop! (But I really want to continue watching House too!)

Anyway, I made pizza last night, with this recipe. I made double the dough 'cause mama likes thick crust, and it was good. Thinking of starting to using more of the McCartneys' recipes, I never know what to cook on Mondays! Almost everything I do includes meat, and that's not happening on Mondays:-)

on saturdays i try to find hogwarts

I love my Marauder's Map, even though it won't show me the way to Hogwarts. There's just secret passages out of the castle.

Have a happy weekend♥!

everybody lies

Coat - Ellos
Gloves - Last year's Christmas present
Shoes - Seppälä

Beret - Seppälä
Skirt - H&M
Shirt - 2nd hand
Cardi - Grandma's made it ageees ago

It's unbelievable how quickly the darkness comes nowadays. I came home from school and it was quite a bright day. Took my shoes off, fed the cat, went upstairs to get my camera and when I managed to get myself outside again it was this dark!

I've got a wee pile of school work to get done but I think I'll leave that for later.. I started watching the first season of House this week and I had forgotten how good (and addictive) it is! I reckon I've time for one episode just now (or maybe two..) :)

PRADA F/W 2012

Oh my, Gary Oldman and Adrien Brody. I loved this, runways should be like this more often! I'll never get over how dapper Oldman and Brody looked, both of them are my favourites. I'm also a fan of this collection, if only someone I knew dressed like this. So smart!

So, I've been doing this for over a month now, and realized I haven't told anyone else but my family. After hearing about the Meat Free Monday on the radio, I immediately knew I should join in. I must admit that the fact that Paul McCartney's behind the idea made me more eager but it's not only that. Mama thinks I'd do anything if I knew Paul McCartney was doing it too.. I wouldn't say that's entirely true, I'm able to use my own brain! I copied this text from the website so you get the picture:

If you've come here today it's because you care about what you eat and about what's happening to our climate. We do too. That's why we started Meat Free Monday.
By giving up meat for one day each week you can save money, reduce your environmental impact and live a healthier life.
In 2006, a United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization report, Livestock’s Long Shadow, highlighted the environmental impact of meat-eating and the importance of making more environmentally and socially conscious food choices. In 2009, we launched the Meat Free Monday campaign as a simple and straightforward idea to show everyone the value of eating less meat – and to make it easier for us all to do so.
We’re not asking you to give up meat completely, we’re encouraging you to do your bit to help protect our planet. By joining together in having one meat-free day each week we’ll be making great steps towards reducing the environmental problems associated with the meat industry. You’ll also be giving your own health a boost, and with the added benefit that vegetables cost less than meat, having one meat-free day each week means it’s good for your pocket too.
So join us and see how one day a week can make a world of difference

Paul, Stella and Mary McCartney

I'd love to be a vegetarian, it'd be good for the planet and to myself. But the thing is that I love meat as well. Bacon, ham, roast beef, roast chicken... I'd miss them so much and to be honest I don't think I could do it. However, one day a week without meat is something everyone can do. I reckon this is ideal for me and if things go well, who knows, I might change this to two days a week!

your feet look gorgeous!

I expect that people normally have a dress before deciding what shoes they're going to wear with it. At least that'd be logical! Don't know how my mind works with things like this.. Ordered two heels from New look for my graduation. (The pink ones were £19.99 and the gray ones £10!) I know, the graduation isn't until June. I'm just going to say this is being well prepared, no need to think about shoes now. The problem - if it'll be a problem - will be the dress. Don't know which shoes I'll wear but the dress will have to go with either ones! Can't wait to get to wear these♥!

A wee family portrait:-) Cleo and I are wishing you all a relaxing weekend♥!

things i wouldn't mind owning

1. These Vagabonds. Though, the ones I saw didn't have that gray rubber thing at the bottom. And, my Skopunkten shoes are pretty similar.. Still, these are too gorgeous!

2. Watermelon skirt. So cute. I've adored products at Lazy Oaf for years, but haven't bought anything yet. Thought about trying to make a skirt like this myself but don't think it'd turn out the way I want!

3. Les Jumelles have such pretty jewellery. One day I'll own something from the vintage collection, at the moment this Alice in Wonderland inspired necklace is my favourite!

4. Femme Sud clutch. This is from the Ex libris collection and once again I've been drooling over it for years.

5. A seal wax ring. I'm considering buying this one from Nostalgic Impressions. How cool would it be to have your own seal in every letter you send? (Picture from here )
