farewell 2012

  

JAN - I had started MFM in December and continued to do so (and still do!). However, I started 2012 in the worst manner one could when I had to take Cleopatra to the vet and lost the most important being in my life.

 

FEB&MAR - In February I went on study leave and started to have lots of free time. I spent my days by skating, skiing and going to the cemetery. I also bought these beauties that are now one of my favourites!

 

APR - We started to get ready to sell "my" house and had the presentation.

 

MAY - My graduation preparations took a lot of my time, and at the same time it was flooding everywhere.

 

JUN - In June I finally graduated from high school, applied to uni, had entry exams (but later learned I didn't get in) and also celebrated midsummer.

 

JUL - Then I was mostly enjoying the summer.

 

AUG - August was my birthday month and I went to the beach with mama. Then again, I lost something very dear to me, when we finally sold the house and moved into a new one.

 

SEP - I visited my beautiful home for the last time. Later I got some unexpected news: got into uni and moved into the UK for the second time in my life, this time for sort of permanently.

 

OCT&NOV - Settling into Leeds and uni.

 

DEC - Had my family visit me and celebrated Christmas!

It doesn't sound that bad as I listed all the happenings of the year, but boy, am I glad 2012 is almost over! This has probably been the worst year of my life for a lot of reasons. I'm not saying there wasn't good times (indeed, there was!) but the overall feeling left for me is that I could've done without the year 2012. I had a lot of difficulties settling back into my life in Finland after a year abroad, not to mention losing the two most important things in my life. Then again, I'm proud of graduating from (my 2nd) high school, getting a place in uni and moving to another country to start life afresh. Here's hoping 2013 will be the beginning of something beautiful! Happy New Year to you all♥!
