thursday thoughts pt. 25

Sorry to be cynical, and to spoil the fun for all of those who are in love. But it is dumb.

cancer's boring

Top - New look
Skirt - Mama's old/Diy
Bracelet(Necklace) - Self-made
Necklace - Made by my mum

Thanks to you all wishing  me to get better! I am in fact not too ill anymore. Still spending a lot of time in bed and watching a lot of TV. I started rewatching House and it is as good as ever. It's (possibly) my favourite show ever and I'm already dreading the moment that I reach the series finale. I just love shows you can watch over and over again and never get tired of. I can remember all the minor characters, the most important lines, the plot twists and everything, but it doesn't lessen the amount of enjoyment I get from it. (On the other hand, I'm also good at rewatching TV shows&movies or even rereading books and can remember all the wee details, but not why someone murdered someone or which major organ failure finally kills a patient. I find this a good quality!) If you've never seen House, I highly recommend you step into the 21st century and check it out! It's especially good if you're feeling poorly and want to self-diagnose. If you're a bit of an hypochondriac like me, you might just end up thinking you have lupus.. :-)

thursday thoughts pt. 24

Oh, wow, it's been a while again. But lately I've been sleeping a lot. If you follow me on Twitter you may have noticed that I'm ill because I moan about it all the time. Sleep is good, though. And it would be even better if I was able to sleep&get my health back. Hope you're all well, and also hope that I'll be back in the book of the living soon!

going back in time, pt. 7

 Top - New look
Skirt - H&M
Shoes - Vagabond
Necklace - Self-made

Now that I've seen this outfit again, I think I might put it to use again. This was the first time I wore the top and the skirt, I think, so obviously I still have them. And even though I rarely wear these Vagabond heels anymore, they're one of my favourite shoes. And, unlike most of my other shoes, I try to take care of these babies! The thing that has changed is that instead of earrings, I have a bow necklace. If I wasn't such a master of losing earrings, though, I'm pretty sure I'd be wearing both of them, and not wearing only one around my neck.

I ken I've been posting only things from the past lately, but I hope you don't mind! I'll try and get back to today as soon as I can, ha. I've been a wee bit of a busy bee with uni and life in general. Most of the time I lead a perfectly boring(ish) life and lately it's felt like things have been happening. Looking forward to blogging about my usual stuff outfits, though, as after my shopping ban ended in January I've abused my ability to shop again. Catch you later♥!

red and wooden

 Cardi - Mama's old
Top - 2nd hand
Skirt - Primark
Over-knee socks - H&M
Necklace - Gift from godmother

My last post from Austria! And this was actually my last day in Austria. And as I was sitting on a train for a fair amount of the day, I wasn't wearing as much clothes as I did on most days.. Anyway,  I've had this necklace for years but I reckon this's the first time I've actually worn it. It is literally only a piece of wood, but I really love it and how smooth&soft it feels. Even more so as I've gotten it from my godmother. (My godmothers always give me nice things😊)

Something I don't think has been mentioned before is that while travelling, I couchsurfed. I.e. literally surfed strangers' couches. It may sound a bit strange (or even dangerous, especially if you're a female travelling alone..) but I really had a nice time with all of my hosts. This also explains the cat in the background. I hadn't even realized how much I miss just having a cat and truly had a wonderful time petting these two. If one wants to actually experience a foreign culture instead of only sightseeing and being a tourist, I'd really recommend trying couchsurfing.

pastels and towers

Here's a couple of shots from Innsbruck. Such a beautiful city, although I spent most of my time at the Bergiselschanze, where the ski jumping competition was held. Innsbruck is definitely a place I'd like to revisit, though. I obviously haven't seen that much of either Austria or Germany, but I do hope the rest of them look similar to what I've seen. Everything just is so pretty. I mean, look at all the buildings and the mountains and everything. So pretty.
